Environment

Active environmental protection is an established target at Senoplast. In 1982 we developed an ecological concept which we have been gradually putting into practice. All relevant areas of the company are subject to an entire approach from an ecological as well as economical basis.

The harmonious blending in of the company premises into the surrounding countryside, the creation of a Biotop and the planting of a park area within the company grounds were recognised in 1985 by Senoplast Klepsch being awarded the Prize for Environment.


After a short preparation period Quality assurance was also introduced in October 1992 by the way of achieving certification to DIN ISO 9001. The system has come through the probationary period to become a vital part of our company´s systems.

In June 1993 the Council of the European Union committed itself to regulation No. 1836/93 on the voluntary participation of companies in a Community system for management of the environment. Senoplast Klepsch & Co. decided voluntarily to take part in this system.
Since 1995 we have begun directing our documentation towards achieving the ÖKO-Audit. Significant issues, such as machinery safety, workplace, health and environmental protection can be targeted. We are convinced that through increased dialogue with our employees and the public we can contribute towards growth in confidence. Our thermoplastics have the advantage of being 100% recyclable so that the material cycle supplier - customer - supplier is installed, which leads to price advantages for our customers, saves on resources and improves the environment. Working with customers on advice and development of these new environmentally friendly products is a constant aim of our company. Projects are being continually worked on and changed and our success in environmental protection strengthens our aim of introducing the ÖKO-Audit. It is our concern to maintain the healthy condition, beauty and recreational value of our country for our guests.
